The staff of more than 850 specializes in natural sciences, life sciences and engineering. The subjects concern production and control technologies, communication and computer technologies, knowledge technologies, biotechnologies, new materials, environmental technologies, nanotechnologies, and nuclear engineering. Besides JSIs’ researchers we assist also researchers from other organisations and entrepreneurs that are looking for possible research-technology partnerships (purely commercial or EU funded) in Slovenia and abroad. Since we are members of the Enterprise Europe Network (http://www.enterprise-europe-network.ec.europa.eu/index_en.htm, www.een.si) we can provide researchers and entrepreneurs with new contacts and information from more than 40 countries. |
