Focus: Biotech meets global needs

Knowledge for Growth is Europe's largest regional biotech convention.

The principal ingredients of the convention are networking, keynote scientific lectures, science, technology and management presentations and a trade and poster exhibition. Just like last year, we will also organise a Job Fair, giving companies and jobseekers in the life sciences an opportunity to get to know each other.

The participants are biotech, medical technology and pharma companies, as well as academic research institutes and providers of capital, services and technologies to the life sciences community.

More than 200 companies were present at Knowledge for Growth 2010, 90 scientists presented their scientific abstract as a poster at the convention, 95 jobseekers submitted a CV for the Job Fair and more than 900 individual participants (62% industry, 38% academic) registered for the convention.
